It’s very easy: just follow the five-step process and we do the rest. 1: Take a photo with your digital camera, or scan a non-digital photo (see our tips below on how to do this), and save it to your computer. Or you can send your non-digital photo by post and we will return it with your final product. 2: Upload your photo safely to our site, following the simple instructions. 3: Choose what sort of product you want (canvas, print, etc.). Follow the Print Wizard prompts to select the orientation, colour, size and shape, finish, and any customisation you want. Sizes not on the list can also be produced: please contact us to discuss your requirements. 4: Confirm your order and pay securely using PayPal’s dedicated service. 5: Then just sit back and wait for your personal photo art to arrive (usually within one working week). If you want to scan a non-digital photo: Make sure both the photo and the scanner glass are completely clean. Wipe the photo with a microfibre cloth and clean the scanner glass according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure the photo is straight against the scanner’s marks, close the lid (if the photo is creased you may need to put a weight on top, such as a heavy book). Pre-scan the photo, to make sure you’ve got it the right way round. Crop the pre-scanned image if necessary – but don’t make the margins too close to the image you want in your finished canvas. We’ll crop it to give the best image in whichever format you’ve chosen. Then scan it at a minimum 300dpi and save it as a JPG or JPEG file. If the photo’s small or you want a larger canvas, you’ll need a higher dpi number, up to 1200dpi; this can take a long time to send, especially with a slow connection, so be patient. |
